Public Meeting
In response to increasing reports of women being followed in the Coleraine area and across the wider Causeway Coast & Glens Borough, Causeway Coast Women has facilitated a public meeting to address these concerns and discuss practical measures to improve safety.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, 27th February at 7:00 PM at the West Bann Development Centre, Coleraine. (8-10 Killowen Court, Coleraine BT51 3TP).
Representatives from local political offices, along with the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), will be in attendance to engage with the community on this pressing issue.

- The growing concerns and fears among women in the area.
- Practical steps individuals can take to protect themselves.
- The availability and legality of self-defence tools such as alarms and sprays.
- A direct update from the PSNI on the actions being taken to enhance public safety and address these incidents.
This meeting provides an important opportunity for the community to come together, voice their concerns, and seek clarity on what measures are in place to ensure the safety of women in public spaces. Attendees will have the chance to hear directly from the PSNI and local representatives about ongoing efforts and potential solutions.
