Nemesis Cheer and Dance Dominate at ICE Frost Fest in Antrim

Nemesis Cheer and Dance have cemented their reputation as one of Northern Ireland’s top cheer and dance clubs after an incredible performance at the ICE Frost Fest in Antrim Forum. Competing against clubs from all over the country, the talented squad took home an impressive collection of trophies and medals, proving their dedication and skill on the competition floor.

For many of Nemesis’ athletes, this was their first-ever competition – but you wouldn’t have known it from their performances. Founder and Head Coach Shania Watton couldn’t be prouder, saying: “This event was a first-ever competition for some of our athletes, and we couldn’t be happier with our results! Our athletes absolutely smashed it, and we can’t wait to see them compete at their next competition.”

And smashed it they did – Nemesis brought home an astonishing 11 first-place wins across various team, stunt, and solo categories. The Mini Hurricane, Youth Raine, Tiny Storm, Junior Heatwave, Senior Cyclones, and Open Thunder teams all secured top spots, while their stunt groups and soloists also dominated, proving that the club’s talent runs deep across all age groups.

But the success didn’t stop at gold. Nemesis also picked up five second-place finishes, three third-place medals, and strong performances across the board, highlighting the depth of talent within the club. With standout performances from Ruby in the senior solo, Farrah and Lola in the mini duo, and Coleraine College taking first in their category, it was a weekend to remember for everyone involved.

What makes these achievements even more impressive is the club’s commitment to growth and excellence. Nemesis has built a strong reputation for developing athletes, and this latest competition success is just the beginning. With a packed season ahead, their next challenge is just around the corner – and if the ICE Frost Fest is anything to go by, their competitors should take note.
