Mar 14, 2025
Northern Ireland’s most inspiring businesswomen took centre stage on Thursday evening as the 13th annual Women in Business Awards recognised leaders across finance, fashion, manufacturing, and beyond.
Jayne Taggart, Chief Executive of Enterprise Causeway, was crowned Businesswoman of the Year 2025 at the prestigious ceremony, held at Belfast’s Crowne Plaza Hotel.
The event, attended by nearly 500 delegates, showcased the extraordinary achievements of women shaping the future of business.
First Minister Michelle O’Neill opened the night as keynote speaker, reinforcing the vital role of women in driving economic success.
Jayne’s win comes as a testament to her visionary leadership in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation on the north coast.
Her work in spearheading a €8m investment led to the launch of the Court House Shared Creative Hub in January, a transformative space designed to support startups and creative enterprises.
With nearly three decades of experience, she has been a driving force behind business growth, not just as a leader but also as a mentor, guiding countless entrepreneurs towards success.
As the applause rang out for Taggart and her fellow winners, the night served as a powerful reminder of the incredible female talent shaping Northern Ireland’s business landscape.
